Alison Krauss

The beginning of the public recognition was for bluegrass fiddler Alison Krauss in 1990 when, at the age of 19 years old, she was able to walk away at the Grammy Awards with the trophy for Best Bluegrass Album. The award was impressive not just due to the artist's age, as the album that was a part of her success, I've Got That Old Feeling is actually the third of her collection. Too Late to Cry was her first album, released at the Champaign Illinois resident's age of sixteen. Krauss had signed with Rounder Records, one of the top folk labels, at the age of fourteen. Krauss has always been known for her extraordinary virtuosity, and accomplishments, even at such an early age. Her love for bluegrass music, which is one of the oldest and least appreciated types of music in the American music, has also been an unavoidable fact. Krauss as the hottest teenager in America, had grown into a performer and producer. Alison Alison Alison
