Andree Martinez

Andree was born in Chihuahua, Chihuahua Mexico and was brought up in El Paso, Texas. The family she comes from has an entertainment gene. Her upbringing was in a family of entertainers, including her sister Karla Martinez, who hosts the Univision show Despierta America (1997)). Since the age of a child, her family has been in the company of television hosts like Karla Martinez (Host of DespiertaAmerica on Univision)! Andrew Martinez, vice president for Safety, Security as well as Business Resiliency is one of the most important electric utilities in the US. SCE is a firm believer on safety of its employees, business security, and resilience. Martinez is accountable for supplying safety leaders within the organization with the mentoring and quality programs necessary to reach their safety group goals. Martinez's previous role was that of Director of Safety Training and Compliance, Transmission & Distribution. Before that, he worked as director for Safety and Compliance for Power Supply and Operational Services at SCE. During his 30 years at SCE Martinez has held several leadership positions in corrective action and performance improvement programs including positions at the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station (SONGS) that focused on safeguarding employees and the public from risks.
