Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports when she was fourteen years old. Aspen Ladd started training in BJJ, kickboxing wrestling and boxing before her first appearance as an amateur at WCFC aged 18. Ladd built on this victory and went on a 3-fight victory streak in Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents in the opening round of all fights. Then, she went to WCFC again and beat Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen has already beaten Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking the fight to Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen with a majority vote. This put a stain on her record as an amateur. Ladd was victorious in her subsequent fight against Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 mark. Aspen was first introduced to the sport in the year 2015 when she signed to Invicta FC for her professional debut. She faced Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11 and dominated her to secure a first-round TKO. Invicta defeated her at bantamweight and was victorious via submission armbar in the 2nd round. Aspen's impressive wrestling skills defeated McGill, and she was able to end her third round by TKO (elbows and strikes). Aspen then went on to fight Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 in a catchweight of 138.1lb. Ladd was not in a position to make it, however, Aspen was victorious and defeated Hoy via TKO. Her final fight with this promotion, Ladd defeated Sijara Eubanks in a unanimous decision at Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She dominated Lina through ground-and-pound and won the TKO round at the end of the 2nd. Ladd remained in the lead as she picked up another big win over Tonya Avinger at UFC 229 with her next fight.
